hi my boyfriend has been smoking weed for 20 years and now quit for 4 days how long do you think the side effects will take to go as he is really bad he cant eat anything at all hes got bad stomch cramps and a tempriture can you help please im really worried or is there something i can do to help make him more comfortable

Hi Toni, I’m sorry to hear that your boyfriend is having such a bad time of it. I can only speak from my own experience of quitting but generally the physical side affects were few. I would put the ones I had down to my psychological state. If your boyfriend ia that bad, my best advice can only be to call a doctor. If this is for some reason not an option then he should try some relaxation. Get him to lay down in a comfortable position, to try some slow deep breathing and definitely some food, no matter how little. If not food try a nourishment drink (Build up, Complan, Dun’s River or something like that). Getting some vitamins minerals and energy into his body will help him feel better and hopefully restart his appetite. Hopefully things will start to get better pretty soon.
